Gives a person all kinds of hope for a measured and sensible approach by religious leaders to the challenges we face today and the future of faith itself — dynamic, compassionate, and intelligent. Peg Chemberlin is the executive director of the MN Council of Churches and the new president of their national body (the National Council of Churches). Joel Hunter is the senior pastor of Northland, “A Church Distributed” (and a title that could use some unpacking). Both serve on Obama’s “Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.”
